Booking conditions

  • Contract of hire:  The hiring contract will be between you the hirer and the property owners. This does not become effective until dispatch of written confirmation of booking.
  • Making a reservation:  A request to reserve a booking will be held for a period of 3 working days to allow for receipt of a securing  postal deposit.
  • Initial payment:  Bookings will be secured upon receipt of a £50 deposit (non-refundable). If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the holiday commencement date the full accommodation rental will be required.
  • Balance payment:  The balance of hire will be required 6 weeks prior to the holiday start date. The owners reserve the right to cancel a holiday reservation where full payment has not been received by 21 days prior to the holiday start date.
  • Payment details:  Please submit payments by cheque made payable to Mrs M Parker.
  • Postal Address for cheques:  Mrs M Parker, 57 The Barns, Bostock Hall, Bostock Road, Middlewich, Cheshire, CW10 9JN.
  • Confirmation of booking:  Once we are in receipt of your securing deposit a prompt written confirmation will be issued by either post or e.mail.
  • Booking canellation:  If you are forced to cancel your holiday, please inform us immediately. If cancellation occurs within 21 days of the holiday start date you will be liable for payment of the full rental unless we are able to secure a replacement booking, in which case only the initial deposit will be retained.
  • Amenities:  The use of accommodation and amenities is entirely at the users risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to visitors or their belongings.
  • Party numbers:  In no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons as stated in these details (4) occupy the property without prior authorisation.
  • Hirer's responsibilities:  The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take all reasonable care in its use. All equipment, utensils etc and the property must be left in a clean and tidy state at the end of the hire period.
  • Damage:  All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the hirer and their cost shall be refundable on demand. However, we accept that with the best will in the world accidents do occasionally happen and thus, there will not normally be a charge for minor damage or breakages. We reserve the right to inspect and repossess the holiday home at any time where the hirer or a member of the hirer's party has caused substantial damage.  In this unlikely event no refund of any remaining proportion of the hire paid will be made.
  • Directions and arrangements on arrival:  On receipt of the balance full directions and details relating to key collection will be issued.
  • Arrival & departure times:  The cottage will be available to guests from 4.00 pm on their date of arrival and guests are required to vacate by 10.00 am on day of departure.
