Lake View and Barn Owls (two of three cottages) are part of a sensitive conversion of a former stable block that once served Bryn Tegid Country House. 

The cottages stand in peaceful seclusion at the top of a meadow that gradually falls away towards the shore of Bala Lake.

Access is via a private single-track lane, there is no through traffic.

Both cottages have magnificent, and ever changing, panoramic views across the waters of Bala Lake and the Berwyn Mountains.

'Lake View'

The cottage is built into the hill side with an open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen on the first floor which maximises the impact of this unique location with elevated views.  Also on this level is a bathroom and entrance hall that exits onto a gravelled rear courtyard that provides ample parking immediately beside the back door.

Downstairs there is a lower hallway and two bedrooms - one master double and one twin bedded room.

The front door opens onto a paved terrace with far reaching views across the meadow to the lake and  the distant mountains beyond.  A picnic bench & patio furniture is provided.  In addition, there is a glazed cedar summer house that provides a wonderful retreat on cooler evenings.
